Marketplace Vendor (Seller or Vendor) Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Delivo. These Vendor Terms and Conditions govern your participation as a vendor on our multi-vendor marketplace platform. By registering as a vendor on Delivo, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Vendor Registration

To become a vendor on Delivo, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process
  • Maintain and update your information to ensure it remains accurate and complete
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and authorizations to operate your business

2. Listing Products and Services

As a vendor on Delivo, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your products or services
  • Set fair and competitive prices for your offerings
  • Maintain sufficient inventory to fulfill orders in a timely manner
  • Promptly update your listings if products become unavailable or if there are changes in price or description
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale and marketing of your products or services

3. Order Fulfillment

You are responsible for:

  • Promptly accepting and processing orders received through the platform
  • Preparing orders accurately and in accordance with the customer's specifications
  • Ensuring that products are properly packaged to prevent damage during delivery
  • Coordinating with Delivo's delivery agents for timely pickup and delivery of orders
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and food safety (if applicable)

4. Customer Service

As a vendor, you agree to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to Delivo users
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
  • Resolve any issues or disputes with customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Cooperate with Delivo's customer support team to address any escalated issues

5. Fees and Payments

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Delivo will charge a commission on each successful sale made through the platform
  • Commission rates may vary based on product category or other factors, as communicated by Delivo
  • You are responsible for any taxes associated with your sales
  • Payments for your sales will be processed and disbursed according to the payment schedule agreed upon with Delivo

Vendor Agreement: Key Financial Terms

To ensure clarity and transparency, please review the following essential terms regarding your earnings and fees on our platform.

Platform Commission

Our platform charges a **10% commission** on the **gross order value** of every successful transaction. This commission is automatically deducted from the total amount paid by the customer before the remaining earnings are credited to your vendor balance.

*Example: If a customer pays XAF 1,000 for an order, our commission will be XAF 100, and XAF 900 will be credited to your balance (before any withdrawal fees).*

Withdrawal Fees

Please be aware that **vendors are responsible for any fees** charged by the mobile money payment provider for processing withdrawals from their platform balance to their external account. These fees are set by the payment provider and are deducted at the time of withdrawal.

*Example: If you request a withdrawal of XAF 1000, the payment provider may charge a fee of XAF 10. In this case, XAF 1010 will be deducted from your platform balance, and you will receive XAF 1000 in your mobile money account.* Please note that fees may vary for larger withdrawal amounts.

6. Compliance with Platform Policies

You agree to comply with all Delivo platform policies, including but not limited to:

  • Quality and safety standards
  • Prohibited items and restricted products policies
  • Pricing and promotional guidelines
  • Intellectual property rights and trademark policies

7. Termination

Delivo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your vendor account if:

  • You violate these Vendor Terms and Conditions or any other Delivo policies
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • You consistently receive poor customer ratings or feedback
  • You fail to maintain the required quality standards

8. Liability and Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Delivo harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform or any violation of these Vendor Terms and Conditions.

9. Modifications to the Terms

Delivo reserves the right to modify these Vendor Terms and Conditions at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes, and your continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
